Newport Aquarium is excited to announce its celebration of World Penguin Week, running from April 21 leading up to World Penguin Day on April 25! In honor of everyone’s favorite feathered friends, the aquarium is offering a week full of fun activities, educational programs and special interactions designed to inspire appreciation for all penguin species and raise awareness about how we can protect them in the wild.
On Tuesday, April 22 to Thursday, April 24 from 10:00am-4:00pm daily, make a gift for your favorite penguin! Guests will be encouraged to paint pebbles in the Frog Bog area with acrylic paint pens. They’ll be presented to your playful penguin pals in Penguin Palooza on Friday, April 25 at 1:00pm and 2:00pm!
