BLINK, the nation’s largest public light and art event returns to Cincinnati October 17 – 20, 2024. The event is free and open to the public. It takes place each night from 7pm – 10pm in Cincinnati, Covington and NEW for 2024 – Newport! This year, BLINK is activating the area right outside Newport Aquarium and around Newport on the Levee.
Art installations at Newport on the Levee include Glowtopia - underwater décor inside the Gallery Building, Terminal of Time and Shy Lights at the Light Play Pavilion, and the Aqua Olympia and Picture Yourself right outside the doors of Newport Aquarium!
Plan-Ahead for a fun-filled trip to Newport Aquarium during BLINK and experience the NEW Underwater Pumpkin GLOW where you can discover giant glowing animals made from pumpkins, Jack-O-Lanterns become artificial reefs for animals to explore, and more!
To ensure the best possible guest experience, Newport Aquarium limits hourly capacities. Popular days and times do sell out. If you wait to purchase tickets at walk-up, you may need to wait hours for the next available entry time or find there is no remaining ticket availability. We strongly recommend purchasing your tickets or making your reservations in advance to ensure you get to visit on your preferred date and entry time.
Get Tickets NowDuring BLINK, special event parking rates may apply during your visit. The Newport on the Levee Parking Garage will charge a special event parking rate of $15 for any cars exiting the garage beginning at 5pm. If you are visiting Newport Aquarium in the late afternoon or evening during BLINK, please stop by any ticket window to get your Newport on the Levee Parking Garage ticket validated. This validation will honor the regular parking rate of $5, but only if you exit the parking garage by 8:00pm.
