Last Week to Visit Scuba Santa’s Water Wonderland for the Holiday Season

The magic of Scuba Santa’s Water Wonderland is coming to a close on December 24 at Newport Aquarium. Visitors will have one more week to experience the one-of-a-kind holiday tradition as Scuba Santa dives into the 385,000-gallon shark tank before his big trip around the world. During each dive, Scuba Santa will talk to visitors while he is underwater with rare Shark Rays and a curious sea turtle named Denver.

Just in time for the holidays, the aquarium is offering visitors the gift of two extra months free on any Gold or Platinum Membership until December 24. As a member, visitors will enjoy unlimited adventures to the aquarium – also making it an excellent gift for family and friends. Gold and Platinum Members will also have the benefit of receiving an exclusive invite to the opening of the aquarium’s new exhibit in 2025.

The brand-new exhibit boasts a $1.5 million investment and will add 1,700 square feet to the aquarium. This innovative new addition will offer visitors a chance to dive deeper into the wonder of an underwater world by taking them “beyond the glass.”

“The new exhibit is something we have been working on for over a year,” said Rebecca Foster, Executive Director of Newport Aquarium, “I am so excited for our guests to see it and we can’t wait to unveil what our team of biologists, engineers, and artists are bringing to the Cincy region in 2025.”
