Newport, Ky. (April 14, 2025) – Newport Aquarium is swimming in excitement after being named one of the top 20 nominees for Best Aquarium in the USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards. Fans of Newport Aquarium can help crown Newport Aquarium as the #1 aquarium in the country by voting daily online starting today through Monday, May 12. USA Today will announce the top 10 winners on Wednesday, May 21.

Selected by a panel of travel and family entertainment experts, the nomination highlights Newport Aquarium’s reputation for innovation, conservation, and unforgettable guest experiences. The aquarium recently expanded its offerings with Jellies: Go with the Flow, a mesmerizing new 1,700-square-foot gallery dedicated to jellyfish and their calming, otherworldly beauty.
