Radio Disney Special Promotions
We're proud of our ongoing relationship with Radio Disney because it lets us host themed events especially for kids and gives our guests and Annual Passholders a chance to win exciting prizes. The Radio Disney Road Crew turns our Theater into party central with music, games and giveaways and the fun is all free with admission to the Newport Aquarium. Because we've had such a great response to our promotional weekends with Radio Disney Louisville, we're now working with Radio Disney Indianapolis, offering you even more fun weekends ahead.

Saturday, March 13 "Hannah Montana"
Join the Radio Disney Road Crew on location in the Theater at the Newport Aquarium. Kids can compete in a "Hannah Montana" look-a-like contest and "Hannah Montana" trivia games, and dance and sing along to "Hannah Montana" songs. Kids will also have the chance to win official "Hannah Montana" merchandise.
Also, families will have a chance to register for the National Grand prize - a trip for 4 to Los Angeles to attend a viewing of a "Hannah Montana" show taping for the fourth and final season.

Round trip airfare for four to Los Angeles, CA from nearest airport.

New King Penguin Chick Hatched Successful Breeding Season Continues at Aquarium
After the announcement of three new Gentoo chicks last month, Newport Aquarium revealed today another hatching: a King penguin chick was hatched Feb. 17 at the Aquarium.
The King chick weighed just 205 grams at birth. In just a week, already it's up to 448 grams. Gender won't be known for another few weeks. Making it noteworthy, this King chick is a second-generation Newport Aquarium penguin. Its parents were both born at the Aquarium four years ago.
While the Gentoo chicks are now big enough to explore the exhibit on their own, the King chick will likely spend its time nestled under its penguin parents. As days pass, the chick will begin to slowly venture away from its nest and be more visible in the Kroger Kingdom of Penguins exhibit, like the Gentoo chicks are now.
There are only 15 accredited institutions that hold King penguins in North America. The Kroger Kingdom of Penguins exhibit currently showcases 31 penguins, including Gentoo, King and Chinstrap penguins. The exhibit is kept at 34-degrees and on the lighting cycle of the Antarctic Peninsula and the sub-Antarctic islands, where these animals are found naturally.
It's squiggly, jiggly, wiggly jelly fun.
You'll have a squiggly, jiggly, wiggly, jelly-good time at the largest jellyfish exhibit in the Midwest. You'll be mesmerized and amazed by giant new see-through tanks you can walk around, a new interactive tank where you can make jellies change colors and a giant new Jelly Wall where you can play tag with moon jellies! It's new. It's fun. And it's only at the Newport Aquarium.

In addition to the largest jellyfish exhibit in the Midwest, there's more to see and do than ever before. You'll love the Frog Bog - an interactive exhibit where you can explore the world of frogs. You'll be thrilled by thousands of species of aquatic wildlife including hundreds of sharks - and some you can actually pet. You'll be amazed by dive shows, behind-the-scenes-tours and exclusive experiences like a Penguin Encounter where you can get so close to cute little African penguins you can pet them.
It all adds up to a fun-filled, family-friendly experience and a million gallons of memories you can create for your kids.
